Each year Art students submit and compete in the annual student art show hosted by the Calaveras Art Council, named ArtSpirit. This year's show took place during the month of March where the artwork was on display on-site of the Calaveras Art Council in San Andreas.
Senior Ella Becker earned top honors of Best in Show with her black and white oil painting. Becker also earned a second place finish with her oil painting. Senior Sophia Keirns earned two first place finishes in pencil drawing and pen and ink drawing. Senior Kyera Chraft earned first place in oil painting with junior Cheyenne Stephens earning third. Senior Keegan Arvin earned first place in functional ceramics with sophomore Issac Godinez earning second and senior Gyver Crawford third. Sophomore Bailey Deplitch earned first place in watercolor. Junior Waylon Amstutz earned second in pen and ink drawing. Senior Carnegie Hall earned third in acrylic painting. Junior Emily Skeen earned third place in sculptural and junior Ayla Jodie receiving honorable mention.
