Bret Harte's fire tech program annual Kids Fire Camp is scheduled for the month of June this summer. Youth participants will receive an introduction to fire science and it's history, hose lay drills, ladders, hands-only CPR, basic first aid, auto extrication, and water rescue. New this year, is a junior camp designed for 2nd through 4th graders.
The Junior Camp, designed for students entering grades 2 – 4 in the fall of 2026, will run 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, 2026. The Kids Camp, designed for students entering grades 5 - 8 in the fall of 2026, will run 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 26, 2026 weekdays. Both camps will take place at the Bret Harte Fire Tech Facility, located in Bret Harte's Sports Complex.

Participants will receive a program t-shirt, hat, and more. Vouchers are available. Check with your current school of record for voucher details.
