Bret Harte Athletics is pleased to announce that Tennis secured the 4th seed in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Co-ed Tennis D2 Quarterfinals. They will host the 5th seed Gustine High School on Friday, May 01 at 4:00 PM in the Tony Tyrrell Sports Complex in Angels Camp. This is the second consecutive year that Bret Harte Tennis qualified for post-season play after a 13-year drought. Find the playoff bracket online. Tennis will host Riverbank tomorrow Tuesday, April 28 in a make-up match that will decide their fate as Mother Lode League co-champions. Match time is 3:30 PM in Angels Camp.
Congratulations to senior Brayden Bowersox for becoming a two-time champion at the League’s singles tournament last Thursday. Bret Harte’s senior duo of Lexie McDaniel and Jonathan Carter teamed up for the first time in their tennis careers and placed first at the Mother Lode League doubles tournament last Friday.
However, Bowersox, Carter, and McDaniel will return to singles competition along with their teammates when hosting Gustine this Friday. Thereafter, Carter and McDaniels will reunite at Section Finals scheduled for Monday, May 18 at Oak Park Tennis Center in Stockton. Bowersox will join them competing in the individual Section Finals meet in singles.
