“Our Cooperative Marketing and Livestock Judging Teams competed in the state finals contest hosted in San Luis Obispo after a very long competitive season. Out of 39 impressive teams competing, the Livestock Judging Team was named the 2nd High Team Overall. This is a major accomplishment for the team and we could not be more proud!
Shawna Truelock was recognized as the 9th high individual out of 160 participants alongside her teammates Mina Russell-Choi, Lynde Plunkett and Jack Brixey. Their commitment, dedication and the level at which they were able to compete is admirable and has impressed me all year. They were trying to make a run at the state title and in a contest where the total team score is 3,000 points, they missed the silver bowl by only 20 points...” – Mr. Sawyer, FFA advisor
