Bret Harte Families: Please join us for Back To School Night on 8/24 from 5:45-8:05. We'll have a taco truck available in the quad by the lower gym. You can pick up your student's schedules from 5:45-6:10, then rotate through their classes and meet their teachers. Visit the Wellness table to enter a drawing for a family athletic pass. We hope you can make it! (This event is geared toward parents/guardians, but if your student is with you that's ok too.)

Welcome NEW Bullfrog families!
On Tuesday 8/11, while your students are finishing up orientation we will meet in the Bret Harte Learning Center from 1:45-2:15ish. We encourage you to join us for this casual meet & greet with admin and counselors where we'll provide you with details on how to navigate the Bret Harte systems and stay up with how you can support your student.
(The Learning Center is the center building on the lower campus across from the Main Office. We will have signs to direct you.)

Back to School Forms are now available on the Campus Parent Portal! Online review of forms by a parent/guardian will take less than 30 minutes and your progress will be tracked. Documents to be viewed and/or signed include the Back to School Newsletter, Shoob Picture Day Flier, as well as, Health and Transportation Forms. Due by Friday, August 14th.

THE SCHOOL OFFICE will be closed for summer break beginning at noon on Thursday, June 11, 2026 through Friday, July 25, and will reopen on Monday, July 27. The first day of the 2026-27 school year is Wednesday, August 12, 2026. More details for next school year to come!
Summer school runs Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 26. There will be no school on Friday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. CLASS OF 2026: Senior Chromebook Returns UPDATE! >>> Senior Chromebook returns have been moved to Tuesday, May 26 during Government/Economics periods in the Learning Center. Seniors, please bring your District-issued Chromebook and any chargers in your possession to school. Be sure the device is CLEAN and CHARGED! Remove all stickers. Replacement fees will be posted for any devices not returned by the end of the day on Tuesday. Devices returned after Tuesday’s senior Chromebook returns, must be brought to Ms. Hungerford in the Learning Center. Payment of fees and associated questions can be directed to Ms. Sugar in the school office. Chromebook returns will not be accepted on Friday, May 22. Questions, contact Tech. CLASS OF 2026: Senior Chromebook returns will be handled differently this year than in previous years. Seniors will be required to return their District-issued Chromebook and corresponding charger during their English period at the end of the third week in May. REMINDER: Bret Harte Athletics will be honoring six Bullfrogs at a letter of intent signing event tomorrow Monday, May 11 at 12:45 PM in Bob Bach Gymnasium. Join coaches, staff, teachers and teammates as they celebrate the outstanding achievements of these student-athletes. All staff and students are welcome to attend. The plant sale will be open to the general public on Saturday, May 9th from 9am to 12pm our greenhouse on Murphys Grade Rd. We'll leave the gate open for you! FINAL SHOWS: Don’t miss Bret Harte Drama’s presentation of the Tony Award–winning musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! The final two shows are scheduled for tomorrow Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 at 7:00 PM in the Dr. Elliott A. Smart Performing Arts Center.
