Celebrating Students of the Month, TJ Bent and Gracie Strand!
TJ Bent
TJ has been an active participant in agriculture, football as well as the sprints for track, but his heart burns for the gridiron.
He has been a coach for AMA youth football and supports local football in participation at the Grape Stomp and parking cars at Frog Jump.
In class, TJ is an engaging, positive classmate, no matter which class.
TJ’s dream colleges include University Hawaii or University Oregon where he will major in sports management. He also embraces the goal to play collegiate football. Followed up by NFL.
He would always be a key player on whom to focus.

Gracie Strand
Gracie has been described as a pillar of academic and personal excellence.
Her waking hours focus on dance, having performed at Studio 4 for eleven years.
Gracie has also been involved on FFA and followed her passion in coaching youth dance. She also is a competitor in Academic Decathlon.
Gracie’s top college choices include UC Berkeley where she plans to major in kinesiology (as well as a minor in dance) to pave the way to a career in physical therapy.

Congratulations to the Bret Harte Forestry Team! They scored 10th and 5th out of 31 teams; and scored high enough to earn a spot in the state competition in April

Bret Harte Families: Please join us for Back To School Night on 8/24 from 5:45-8:05. We'll have a taco truck available in the quad by the lower gym. You can pick up your student's schedules from 5:45-6:10, then rotate through their classes and meet their teachers. Visit the Wellness table to enter a drawing for a family athletic pass. We hope you can make it! (This event is geared toward parents/guardians, but if your student is with you that's ok too.)
