Congratulations to March’s students of the month, Kadyn Rolleri and Dylan Knick, who were honored at the Angels-Murphys Rotary luncheon today.
Kadyn Rolleri: “When it comes to challenges and comebacks, no one should bet against Kadyn. [She] suffered a serious injury in basketball, but anyone who is familiar with Kadyn knows not to bet against her. Fighting back to heal, [she] has again become active in sports year-round with Cross Country, Track, and Basketball, the latter of which she is a starter of Bret Harte’s Nor Cal DV State l Championship Team. Other activities outside the classroom include helping organize and run AMA tournaments and working for your Cattleman’s Hall of Fame. She is also active in Leadership, FFA and is a member of Federation of Christin Athletes. In the classroom, Kadyn is engaging, polite, and dedicated for getting the best from her classes, just like her approach in sports.
Kadyn’s target colleges include Point Loma, La Verne, and Cal Poly SLO where she plans to major in kinesiology. Her career goals are to become a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or an Athletic Trainer.”
Dylan Knick: “Dylan Knick has been described as a quiet source of help who would be missed if absent. Dylan consistently goes out of his way to support his peers at the Fair and AG Shop. Bret Harte is proudly represented by Dylan in year-round sports trio of Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He is also active showing animals for FFA. Dylan has developed an inclination towards engineering and plans to major in civil or manufacturing engineering. His path will start at Modesto Junior College followed by plans to transferal to Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. His hobbies include wood-working and setting up an entrepreneurship for that business.”
