Vision Statement
As stakeholders in Bret Harte High School, we will be a community-based learning environment composed of students, professional educators, parents and citizens who strive together every day to foster growth and learning that results in graduates who think, solve, communicate, contribute, develop, and succeed.
THINK
Analyze, evaluate, and question information. Develop sound and reasoned ideas that support defensible conclusions. Formulate reasoned opinions and revise thinking when appropriate.
SOLVE
Use evidence to develop a suitable hypothesis. Create and assess effective solutions Judge and reflect upon assessment results. Apply a variety of technologies and problem-solving techniques. Appropriately seek assistance from a qualified source when needed.
COMMUNICATE
Read, understand, and respond to written texts. Write clearly and coherently for a variety of audiences. Speak and listen effectively in formal and informal settings. Argue, debate, and defend positions on issues appropriately. Explore other perspectives and cultures.
