It has not been since then year that a Bret Harte basketball player was invited to compete in the prestigious Six County All-Star basketball game scheduled for this Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 PM at Modesto Junior College. Tickets will be sold at the door.

The Calaveras Enterprise reported, "Williams recently concluded his basketball career at Bret Harte by earning the title of Most Outstanding Player in the Mother Lode League. During his senior season, he scored 655 total points, shot 102-for-124 from the free-throw line, and averaged 21.1 points per game. He also contributed 164 rebounds, 57 assists, and 66 steals." Bullfrog Will Whited was selected for the all-star game in 2014, and before Jordan Gomez and Dan Radford in 2012.
