Students of the Month for March

Congratulations to the Students of the Month for May – Rae Cox, Sarah Spiecker and Soane Stormacq – who were honored at the Angels-Murphys Rotary BBQ yesterday May 22 in Murphys. The following information was shared about Rae, Sarah and Soane.

Rae Cox: “Rae’s service and adventures are diverse. Rae has represented Bret Harte on the swim team and is an active participant for the Forestry club and Drama production. She has also served as a Science Camp counselor and is a medalist for Academic Decathlon. She is a member of the Tri-County LGBT Alliance, works for her family business in the winery, and is a personal assistant for a family member on the spectrum. Rae plans to start her post-secondary education at Santa Rosa Junior College followed by transfer to Sonoma State where she will complete her Masters in History or Political Science.”

Sarah Spieker: “Sarah is an exchange student from Germany, who has maximized being a Bullfrog. Sarah represented Bret Harte on the Cheer team and participated in Track. She has also been an active member of Renaissance, Leadership and tutoring as well as 8th Grade Expo. Sarah has also been a member of the Ski and Forestry clubs. She has been a stat taker for wrestling. Sarah plans to attend University of Cologne where she will major in Psychology with emphasis on children.”

Soane Stormacq: “Soane is an exchange student from Belgium, who has worn her Purple and Gold proudly. Soane’s list of activities will seem like a duplicate of Sarah’s as they share many classes together and are extremely supportive of each other. Soane participated on the Cheer team and in Track. She has also been an active member of Renaissance, Leadership and tutoring as well as 8th Grade Expo. Sarah has also been a member of the Ski and Forestry clubs. Like Sarah, Soane never misses an opportunity to experience Bret Harte. Both have been a delight in class. Soane plans to attend University of Liege where she will major in Law/Criminality possibly following a career as a lawyer.”
