The third annual Bret Harte Boys Golf scramble tournament took place this past Saturday, September 7 at Greenhorn Golf Course in Angels Camp. With a total of 28 teams comprised of alumni, student-athletes and community members, this year’s event proved successful in more than one way. The event raised nearly $6500 that will be used to purchase team bags, uniforms, league balls and pay tournament fees this upcoming spring season. The climax of the afternoon was senior Evan Wilson’s 125-yard drive on hole 3 for a hole-in-one. AMAZING as the odds are 1 in 12,500 of making a hole-in-one on a par 3 hole.

Boys Golf’s upcoming spring season is scheduled to begin in February. Match schedule will be posted by December.
