Congratulations to our fourth Bravo Student of the Month for September recipient, sophomore Jeshua Wahlman. Jeshua is a student-athlete competing in football and basketball, as well as an FCA member, math tutor and AMA coach. His favorite class is agricultural mechanics.
“Jeshua is a pleasure to have in class!” shared instructor Ms. Hiner. “He is a very hard worker with a great attitude. I look forward to seeing all the projects he builds this year in the shop.”
Instructor and athletic director Mr. Barnett added, “Jeshua is a quiet leader on campus. He leads by example in both athletics and classroom actions. Jesh can also be seen as a leader for the class of 2028 in FCA on Mondays. Bret Harte is a better place having Jesh as a student.”
The Bravo Program recognizes and celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Students earn Bravo points for actions that contribute to a positive classroom environment, assisting others, and following school rules. These points can be redeemed for rewards including school gear and attendance at special events. Launched by instructional staff, the Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued. Each month, two juniors, sophomores and freshman will be recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
