This past Saturday, Bret Harte Wrestling traveled to Sacramento to compete in the highly competitive 29th annual Tim Brown Memorial Wrestling Tournament held in the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium over two days comprised of over 90 teams. Competing in the 66-man bracket, senior Ryan Lee became the 138lb champion defeating the #1 and #3 tournament seeds. To view all results, go to https://www.calgrappler.com/tim-brown-memorial-results-2026/. The last Bullfrog to take top honors at this prestigious tournament was Kodiak Stephens in 2020.

The annual Tim Brown Memorial Wrestling Tournament honors fallen Marine and Foothill High School wrestler alum, Lance Cpl. Timothy Brown, who was killed in action in Anbar Province, Iraq in 2006.

In addition, Lee earned the title of tournament champion at the Ceres Invitational in the 144lb weight class on December 20. Junior AJ Peil placed third in the 165lb class.
