Congratulations to our next Bravo Student of the Month for January recipient, freshman Blake Bowersox. Blake’s favorite class is Art. He is a member of ACADEC, Forestry Club, and Interact. Also, Blake is a student-athlete competing in Soccer and Tennis. When student of the month recipients were asked would like to meet among the living or passed, Blake shared he would love to meet the great, Stephen Curry.

“Blake Bowersox exemplifies the qualities of a 9th Grade Student of the Month through his creativity, motivation, and consistent academic success,” shared fine arts instructor Mr. Waelty. “In his art class, he embraces both technical skill-building and creative risk-taking, producing thoughtful work that reflects originality and strong craftsmanship. He balances academic rigor with creative challenges across his coursework, approaching each task with focus and determination. Blake is a joy to have in class, regularly making positive, high-quality contributions that strengthen discussions and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.”

Science instructor and Forestry Club advisor Ms. Castro added, “Blake is an excellent young man. He excels in school and sports. He is kinds and fun loving and well deserving of student awards.”

The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued by recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Each month, two juniors, sophomores and freshman will be recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
