Weeks of planning by FFA’s student leadership team and advisors will pay off with the kickoff of National FFA Week beginning Monday, February 23, also celebrating the school’s 53 years of agricultural education. 

National FFA Week is an annual tradition coordinated by the National FFA Organization to share the value of FFA and the impact it has on its members every day. FFA shares its national organization is the top school-based youth leadership development organization in the country, with more than one million members in all 50 states.

Below is an overview of spirit or dress-up days, and scheduled events.

Monday, February 23: The dress-up theme is Red, White, and Blue.

Tuesday, February 24: The dress-up theme is Anything but a Backpack. There will be a student luncheon for all FFA members and advisors in RM 15.

Wednesday, February 25: The dress-up theme is Animal Print. FFA students will host the annual Ag Extravaganza, which invites elementary students to tour the Ag department and experience FFA members’ agricultural projects interacting first-hand with chickens, rabbits, steer and more.

Thursday, February 26: The dress-up theme is Adam Sandler. FFA students will host a staff luncheon to recognize teachers, administrators, and support staff for their support of Bret Harte FFA, its members, and its activities.

Friday, February 27: The dress-up theme is Blue/Gold or FFA Attire. The annual Kiss-a-Pig Rally, where one staff member will "kiss a pig" by popular demand, will take place in the Lower Gym during Pond. As well, this year's FFA King and Queen will be crowned.
