Congratulations to our fourth Bravo Student of the Month for February recipient, freshman Violet Cavaco. Violet’s favorite class is Spanish. She is a member of ACADEC, as well as a student-athlete competing in cross country, the dance team, and track and field. When student of the month recipients were asked who they would like to meet among the living or passed, Violet shared the late American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe.
“Violet is so much fun to have in class!” shared world language instructor Mr. Brady. “Of course she pays attention, participates fully, and works well with others. But she also has a great sense of humor and keeps me on my toes with her questions and insights. I wish I had more students like her!”
Mr. Anderson added, “Violet brightens the English and Theater classrooms with her thoughtful insights and sharp sense of humor. A very deserving Student of the Month!”
The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued by recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Each month, two juniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen are recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
