Milo Jirka, a Bravo SOM, for February promo image

Congratulations to our fifth Bravo Student of the Month for February recipient, sophomore Milo Jirka. Milo’s favorite class is Ag Biology. He is a member of FFA, as well as a student-athlete competing in tennis. When student of the month recipients were asked who they would like to meet among the living or passed, Milo shared singer songwriter Jay Kay of the funk band Jamiroquai.

“Milo is one of my favorites in class and very very academic!” shared Ag Biology teacher Mr. Sawyer. “He has really stepped up in the ag program this year winning our section speaking Impromptu contest and being a regional qualifier this year. He has assisted giving meeting reports at monthly meetings and proven to be a natural leader in class.”

The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued by recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Each month, two juniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen are recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
