Congratulations to our sixth and final Bravo Student of the Month for February recipient, junior Mina Russell-Choi. Mina’s favorite class is US History. She is a member of FFA and Student Body Council, as well as a student-athlete competing in golf. When student of the month recipients were asked who they would like to meet among the living or passed, Mina shared her grandfather so she could tell him all things she has done.
“Mina is a diligent student who completes her assignments thoroughly, but her success in US History is not limited to the completion of assignments,” shared US History instructor Ms. Truman. “Mina is curious and asks questions to gain a greater understanding of the topic of study. It’s been an honor to have Mina in my class.”
FFA advisor Mr. Sawyer added, “Mina is the perfect bridge between our program and the community as our chapter reporter. She is incredibly busy but balances everything with ease and a smile on her face. Very few students could do what she does. Mina is the perfect intersection of talent and hard work!”
The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued by recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Each month, two juniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen are recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
