Shayla Andico, a Bravo SOM for March, promo image

Congratulations to our final Bravo Student of the Month for March recipient, junior Shayla Andico!

Shayla’s favorite class is Contemporary Issues and is a member of ACADEC and the Forestry Club. She is also a student-athlete competing in tennis. She plans to attend college with long-term plans of becoming a lawyer.

“Shayla is a very conscientious student,” shared social studies instructor Ms. Truman. “She works hard to be successful academically as well as in her extra-curricular endeavors. As a student, Shayla goes above and beyond to achieve academic success and, on many occasions, has gone beyond the classroom to understand the world around us. She is highly respected by her peers.”

Science instructor Ms. Maurer added, “Shayla words hard, is interested and is a pleasure to have in class!”

The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued by recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Each month, two juniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen are recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
