COURSE REQUESTS: It's that time of year again-students are beginning the process of selecting their courses for next school year. All students have received a copy of their course request sheet, along with instructions for entering their selections into Infinite Campus. For those who attended last year, the process remains the same. During the last week of February and the first week of March, Principal Holt and our Academic Counselor, Ms. Godfrey will meet individually with each student to review and discuss their course selections. A current copy of the 2026-2027 course catalog is available on our website, along with course request sheets for each grade level. CLASS OF 2026: "The Local Scholarship Program is finally here! Last year the Senior Class of 2025 was awarded OVER $250,000.00. wow! Mr. Nanik and I visited Senior Government classrooms on Monday, December 8th to explain the application process. Everything the students need is on my google classroom. There is a Scholarship for EVERY SENIOR, so please encourage your student to apply to as many as they are eligible for, and to take their time when writing their essays! There are approximately 850 organizations offering scholarships, so be sure to put forth your best effort. Seniors will have 3 full weeks to complete all scholarship applications..."

QUARTER 1 PROGRESS GRADES: "Good Afternoon, Friday, September 12th marked the halfway point of the first quarter of the 2025-26 school year. Please refer to the Parent and/or Student Portal to view your student's 1st Quarter Progress Report. From the Main Menu, select Documents > 1st Qtr Progress Report for the current school year. IF YOUR STUDENT IS RECEIVING A D OR F ON THIS PROGRESS REPORT, THEY MAY BE AT RISK OF FAILING THE QUARTER. If you have questions regarding your student's progress grade, please contact the instructor directly. Teacher contact information can be found on our website under Staff Directory. Effective January 2023, all student progress and report cards must be accessed on the Portal and will no longer be mailed home. COUNSELING UPDATE >>> SAT: "Hello Seniors! I will be giving the SAT on Oct. 7th in Room 27. Please be there by 7:45 with a fully charged Chromebook. See Ms. Sugar in the main office for payment instructions. There can be no exceptions to this deadline as it set by College board. || PSAT: "The PSAT is on October 8th in Room 27. You MUST be there by 7:45 to ensure your chrome book is updated. PLEASE take the practice tests prior to the 8th to make sure you are prepared. Total testing time is about 2 12 hours so prepare your teachers as well... BACK TO SCHOOL ONLINE FORMS: "Bret Harte Families, our annual back to school forms are now available on the Campus Parent Portal! Online review and submission of forms by parents/guardians will take less than 30 minutes and your progress will be tracked. Some of the documents to be viewed, completed, and/or signed include: • Back to School Newsletter • Freshman & New Student Orientation Information • Picture Day Information • School Calendar • Bell Schedule • Household Income Survey Information • Student Vehicle Application • Robo-Doc Telehealth Program Authorization • Bus Application and Schedule • And, more! Parents/Guardians, log into your Campus Parent Portal account on a desktop browser or on the mobile app. Navigate to MENU > DOCUMENTS for each student enrolled in the District. Review each online form. Forms listed as Need Attention require completion and a signature. To review but opt out of submitting your signature, simply select Decline and Submit. The deadline to complete online forms is the second Friday of the school year or Friday, August 22, 2025. Services are available to assist parent/guardians in completing online forms.
