All students who live above Utica Grade will be excused for today. Parents please call the school office to confirm your students attendance is recorded properly. "Good afternoon, We hope this message finds you safe and healthy. We understand today's school closure may have inconvenienced you and your family. Please trust, the decision to close school is never taken lightly and only done when carefully considering the safety of students and staff. School will be open tomorrow, March 1st, with a possible delayed start. A decision will be made early Wednesday morning in consultation with district departments and community agencies, such as CHP and Caltrans, when driving conditions are understood. Tomorrow's schedule will be periods 1-7, similar to Monday's schedule, even with a delayed start. If you have any questions, contact the school office at 209-736-2507.

Due to the shortage of bus drivers, we found it necessary to discontinue bus route 5 to Arnold. Route adjustments have been made effective Friday February 10, 2023. Students previously taking route 5 will now be taking bus route 1 for the remainder of the school year. The updated schedule can be found at

- Transportation
Operations will be conducting their annual fire alarm and sprinkler system test today/Monday, February 6, 2023. It will begin at 3:30 PM and will ring multiple times and should last no more than an hour. A campus-wide announcement will be made. Thank you for your cooperation!
Bret Harte Aquatic Center reopens tomorrow/Monday, February 6, 2023!
Bret Harte families in the Arnold Area. Due to a driver shortage on Monday February 6th we will be modifying the up-the-hill bus route as follows. Camp Connell and down and the Moran Road corridor will be picked up on the eastern side of Moran road and Highway 4 at 7:00 am that will be the bus turn around.
There will be only 1 Arnold bus that day. The afternoon route will be doubled up but will make the regular stops. If parents are able to transport their own students to school that morning to lighten our load it would be appreciated. Sorry for any inconvenience we are trying are best to accommodate all student needs with what staff we have.
