Bret Harte instructional staff have launched the Bravo program; an incentive program that rewards Bullfrogs for doing the right thing. Each month, two juniors, two sophomores and two freshman will be recognized for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom, leadership among peers, and a genuine commitment to our school community.
Kicking off the inaugural month of recognition is junior Drew Chapman. Chapman is a student-athlete competing in pole vault in Track and Field, as well as a member of Leadership and Interact Club. His favorite class is sports conditioning.
Instructor and Track and Field coach Jon Byrnes shared, “Drew is a trustworthy and reliable young man. He is always willing to volunteer his time to help others and knows why it’s important to be a part of something bigger than yourself.”
The Bravo Program recognizes and celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and strong character. Students earn Bravo points for actions that contribute to a positive classroom environment, assisting others, and following school rules. These points can be redeemed for rewards including school gear and attendance at special events. The Bravo program encourages a positive school environment where good choices are acknowledged and valued. To learn more, contact Ms. Stelling or Mr. Swanson. Photo courtesy of #brethartebravo.
