FFA UPDATE: "On Wednesday, November 13th we will be holding our 3rd FFA meeting of the year which will begin at 7pm in the theater. Topics discussed at this meeting will be committee reports, Cow Pie Social wrap up, and state convention applications. Additionally we will be announcing the 2024-2025 greenhand officer team and conducting our chapter degree ceremony. The Chapter FFA degree is the highest award that we can bestow on our members and is earned during the second or third year of membership in our chapter. If you are a parent/guardian of one of the chapter degree recipients, you will receive a separate invitation email. Other events/reminders as they approach are listed below:
• MANDATORY Parent and Exhibitor meeting for all Sheep, Goats, Hogs, Poultry and Rabbit exhibitors is Wednesday 12/12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. If your student wants to show with Bret Harte FFA at Fair- they MUST attend with a parent/guardian.
• Students attending MFE or ALA have payments due 12/6 to Mrs. Sugar at the ASB window.
• The FFA community service committee is collecting cans this month to donate to the Murphys Senior Center. Canned proteins are preferred and the deadline to collect is 11/22.

ATHLETIC CANCELLATIONS: Due to an unplanned power outage, the following practices have been canceled for today Monday, November 04, 2024: boys basketball, girls basketball, boys soccer, and wrestling. Girls soccer, volleyball, and water polo practices will proceed as planned unless otherwise directed by head coaches.

ONLINE TICKETING: Bret Harte is set to host the Division V Sac Joaquin Section quarterfinal game tonight. The Bullfrogs will host the Mariposa Grizzlies in the Bob Bach Gymnasium. The match will begin at 6pm and doors open at 5pm. Tickets can be purchased exclusively through GoFan. Bret Harte athletic passes and ASB stickers will not be honored. BELL SCHEDULE UPDATE: Next week, October 28th-November 1st, will be a different bell schedule than normal due to our In-Service Day on Friday. The schedule will be as follows: Monday: odd periods (1, 3, 5 & 7); Tuesday: even periods (2, 4, 6 & Pond); Wednesday: odd periods (1, 3, 5 & 7); Thursday: even periods (2, 4, 6 & Pond); and Friday: In-Service Day ( NO SCHOOL ). QTR ONE GRADES: Last Friday, October 11th marked the end of the first quarter of the 2024-25 school year. Please refer to the Campus Parent Portal to view your student's 1st Quarter Report Card. From the Main Menu, select Documents > 1 st Qtr Report Card for the current school year. If your student is receiving a D or F on this report card, they may be at risk of failing. Your student is considered academically ineligible and may not participate in sports if he/she has a GPA of less than 2.0, has 2 F's, 2 INC's or an F & an INC on their report card.
