FFA UPDATE: "Dear Parents and Guardians of Bret Harte FFA Members, You are receiving this email because your student is enrolled in an Agriculture class at Bret Harte High School. [We] want to welcome you to the FFA family by inviting you to our Red, White, and Blue themed Welcome Back BBQ dinner and meeting on Wednesday September 10, 2025. We will be hosting games for students to play beginning at 5:30pm in the Quad, barbecuing hamburgers for dinner at 6:00pm in the MPR, and holding our first FFA meeting of the year at 7:00pm in the Theater. For our first year members, we are hosting our first ever Greenhand Openhouse, which will be taking place both at Pond and after school, starting at 5:30pm. The festivity times and locations are as follows: • Games/GH Openhouse: BH Quad/Woodshop at 5:30pm • Dinner: Multipurpose Room at 6:00pm • FFA Meeting: Theater at 7:00pm Our Greenhand Open House is dedicated to our first year members or members who may be trying to get more information to get more involved in our chapter. The Open House will consist of fun activities with the officers, as well as, informational tables on our Cooperatives (Rabbit, Sheep and Greenhouse), our judging teams, our speaking teams, and more that our program offers.
