As a District, we look to avoid canceling school whenever feasible. We know that students need the continuity of learning and scheduling makeup days can be challenging. In general, we do not cancel school unless the event directly impacts the campus in Angels Camp. However, we may cancel bus transportation to select geographic areas and will work with families when this happens. To keep students and staff safe, we will be diligent in our decision-making and send out information via email, the BH App, phone, and social media as soon as a decision is made.

FFA UPDATE: "On Wednesday, November 19th, we will be holding our 3rd FFA meeting of the year which will begin at 7pm in the theater. Topics being discussed at this meeting will be committee reports, new chapter business and announcing the 2025-2026 greenhand officer team before conducting our chapter degree ceremony. The Chapter FFA degree is the highest award that we can bestow on our members and is earned during the second or third year of membership in our chapter. If you are a parent/guardian of one of the chapter degree recipients, please attend to watch your students walk the stage in our degree ceremony!
Other events/reminders as they approach are listed below:
• MANDATORY Parent and Exhibitor meeting for all Sheep, Goats, Hogs, Poultry and Rabbit exhibitors is Wednesday 12/10 at 5:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. If your student wants to show with Bret Harte FFA at Fair- they MUST attend with a parent/guardian.
• Students attending MFE or ALA have payments due 11/20 to Mrs. Sugar at the ASB window and return
• The FFA community service committee is collecting cans this month to donate to the Vallecito Food Pantry. Canned proteins and non-perishable foods are preferred and the deadline to collect is 11/22.

INTRAMURALS: "Now you're all in big, big trouble!" Be sure to sign-up for this month's Dodgeball Tournament. Go to your class-specific Pond Nation Google Classroom to scan the QR code. Student will form teams of six players, including one substitution to play in tournament-style fun. Games will take place from November 12 - 26 in the Lower Gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
